The Ray A. Peacock Foundation is a 501c (3) non-profit organization founded to honor the memory of Ray Anthony Peacock’s outstanding academic achievement and community work.
Founded in Burkeville, Texas, the Ray A. Peacock Memorial Scholarship Fund was established to honor the memory of Ray Anthony Peacock, an exceptional student of Burkeville High School’s Class of 1977. Ray was the first in his family to attend college, pursuing his dreams at Lamar University in Beaumont, Texas. Following his untimely passing, Ray’s parents, Cecil and Theresa Peacock, founded the scholarship fund to commemorate their son’s outstanding academic achievements and community work.
